Developing Core Technology? The SKTA Innovation Accelerator may have a space for you
Anil Mahavadi, Investments and Strategic Partnerships Summer Analyst at SK Telecom Americas (the North American business development arm of SKTA), describes the SKTA Innovation Accelerator opportunity for entrepreneurs during his presentation at the July 2014 Health 2.0 Silicon Valley monthly meet-up.
The SKTA Innovation Accelerator seeds core technology startups to create and manage the essential data center. It matches entrepreneurs with the industry’s leading strategic partners and provides initial funding of up to $1 million as a combination of working capital, state of the art facilities, development tools and professional services. The innovation accelerator has space for 11 startups each with secured access and its own network. Also, the environment is free of the usual administrative burdens. The accelerator is located in Sunnyvale, California.
According to the embedded SKTA video, entrepreneurs can concentrate on developing their technologies while strategic partners and Venture Capitalists are able to access lower risk investment opportunities and shorter times to money horizons.
