Electronic Monitoring of Hand Hygiene in Healthcare Settings

In a #HiMSS14 interview, Heather McLarney, Vice President of Marketing a DebMed, chats with Pat Salber MD about a new point-of-care electronic monitoring system for hand hygiene that has increased compliance with the World Health Organization’s “Five Moments of Hand Hygiene” by up to 30%.  Because this sanitizer can sit on bedside tables instead of being fixed to the wall, it makes it easier for clinicians to do the right thing – always a  key factor in getting people to do something.
