Miranda Felde earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Services (with honors) and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration. She is a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) from the American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety, and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) from the American Hospital Association/American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. She has earned an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the Insurance Institute of America, and the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Ms. Felde is a risk management professional with nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance and risk management industry. She is a member of American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety, American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. She is the past President of the San Diego Association for Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety, and serves on multiple professional association committees. Ms. Felde has worked in the healthcare risk management field providing risk consulting and educational services to healthcare clients throughout the United States. She was also the author and editor of a professional liability risk management quarterly newsletter while managing the healthcare risk services for a claims and risk management administrator.
