Lisa Suennen MA

Lisa Suennen is a healthcare venture capital investor. She leads American Heart Association Ventures as Managing Partner and is the managing partner of Venture Valkyrie, LLC. She previously led the digital and technology businesses at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, was Senior Managing Director of GE Ventures, and was a partner at Psilos Group, a healthcare-focused venture capital firm.

She is on the faculty of the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, where she teaches healthcare innovation and venture capital. She holds an M.A. in political science, a B.A. in political science and a B.A. in mass communications, all from the University of California, Berkeley.
