Jamile (Jay) Ashmore, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Plano, near Dallas, Texas. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University and completed his clinical training at Duke University Medical Center specializing in behavioral medicine. He has a decade of experience working with individuals struggling from behavioral health disorders. His published and ongoing research focuses on the biological, psychological, and social aspects of chronic diseases. As a clinical assistant professor at Southern Methodist University, he teaches behavior modification courses and advanced clinical skills to doctoral students.
